I stumbled upon this viewing an episode of Rocketboom (www.rocketboom.com) about the Business of Social Networks. I had never heard of Google's Open Social before but was intrigued by the prospect of something that would connect the hundreds of social networks out there. That Google, what a smartypants.

Agreed, Apple is a Chief of Innovation. They are hands down the leaders in this category. They develop their ideas by consistently being on the cutting edge of technology. They see validity in a certain technological advancement and it seems that new ideas for its use form naturally.
