Slightly pessimistic...

I must Say, I quite agree with both previous comments made on this week's readings, more so with the first however. It may just be because I am so tired reading the article and writing my response to it but I couldn't help picking up on the Big Brother undertones of the entire idea of the miniscule sensors, the pharms. constantly watching over you, etc. My mind even began wandering and linking this with the devices being used in the post offices to detect Anthrax. It may be possible that like many other technologies that were developed as a tool to help better the human way of life, this too may be turned around and used as a weapon. Imagine a world with nano-biological warfare.
I apologize for the grim post, but frankly, this technology terrifies me more than it gives me hope.
