THE WEEK, THE MAGAZINE INDUSTRY AND ATTENTION ECONOMY

Here is an interesting article I found in the NY Time about a news magazine called The Week, circulated in the UK and now in the US. The news-zine is boasting rapid growth and its owner Felix Dennis (the man who brought us Maxim magazine) is looking to shift the magazine industry and traditional organizational models.

"Rather than inveighing against the Web’s hit-and-run informational ethos, Mr. Dennis has rendered it corporeal, producing a 42-page primer on the week"

Interesting read.

Check out the News-zine's site. I like the illustrations.
